After DOFUS account transfer, you can now fully benefit DOFUS last update. This one is a prelude to a major extension which you will discover in 2006. We had also thought that drops revalorization would be a good idea and it seems that we were not deny, here is the proof. All the Ankama team member wish you a Merry Christmas.

You have now to log on DOFUS with your new Ankama Games login details. This modification has been done to increase the level of security of your accounts.Several players faced some problem to convert their Dofus account into Ankama Games account.

The next update will be available on Tuesday, 20th December. This minor update will be done as a first taste of the coming Major Update of Dofus (in few months).The primary goal of this update (the one of 20th December) is to revalue the "drop" of item on monsters in order to increase the stakes of combats. Indeed, ten or so sets for beginners and intermediate players will be available. They will be dropped by monsters.Professions (i.e. tailor, jeweller, cobbler...) won't be outdone by these sets, as they will become also "craftable" at the time of the major update of Dofus.Some new areas around Astrub will be opened and new monsters too.
These new areas will a preview of some of the new background landscapes of Dofus that will be added for the major update.Finally, the map of the game will be updated and the market places located in Bonta and Brakmar will be displayed on it.

Our sole concern is to provide you with the best. That is why the portal ANKAMA GAMES will release soon.
This site-portal will allow you discovering all the games Ankama offers (DOFUS and Dofus Arena) and will offer soon.
But above all, it will permit to have only one account for every Ankama games. The portal will also centralize all the data concerning registration, support and subscription.Effect on your accounts:
1- You will have to create an Ankama Games account. Your current account name will become a .display name. only and you won.t use it to log in anymore and you will have to choose a new username (never displayed to other users)
2- Security level will be increased:
You will have 4 security .keys.:

- A secret question and its answer
In order to retrieve on of the keys, you.ll need to provide the 3 others.

We remind you that Ankama Studio fights actively account/items stealers and scammers.Every item or Kamas transfer is recorded in our database. Thus we can find all the necessary information on possible scams and find exactly what was moved from an account to another.In the event of account or item robbery, we do our best to punish the responsible and banish him/her permanently.
Remark: within the last 3 months, more than 210 accounts have been permanently banished by Ankama for account/item stealing attempts. About a hundred of them were Full member. As full member, you are not more allowed than others to scam other players.Large amount of time is allocated to cleaning up the game of such bad players. It means that we can spend less time on improving and upgrading the game...Finally, we do not give any item or Kama back except if we are partly/fully responsible of the problem. It is your concern to take care of your account and never give your password to anybody.More information have been added to the security rules thread.
